FM Application Update
I was reading in the Radio World March 26th magazine an article by Randy J. Stine on the 3,630 FM applications filed.
I want to share a couple of statements from the article for you to consider in prayer.
First; Randy states "communication lawyers say that filers have begun a protracted, sometimes frustrating and certainly expensive process",
also "applicants face the arduous task of gaining approval of the FCC, which is likely to take years in many cases."
Second: Randy states "90% of the applications filed will require settlements and technical adjustments if they are ever to be granted.
Please pray that we will have the finances needed to complete this project, that it will not take years,
and that we will receive the FM license that we have applied for.
Of the 3,630 applications, only 250 did not conflict with other filings.
Unfortunately we have conflicts with several other filers in our area.
This may cause our app. to take some time before we know its fate.
Thank You jds

Readers Response
Some responses regarding e-mailing the Radio Update newsletter are in. We already have
about 20 listeners that have stated that they would like to have their e-mailed to them.
That amounts to a savings of just over $8.00 in postage
plus the cost of the envelopes, paper, and inc. We thank you.
We will start that as soon as we get the process down.
