The WFST theme verse:
COLOSSIANS 4: 2-4 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.

FUNDRAISER RESULTS

WOW, another fundraiser has come and gone! I thank everyone for their part in this year's event. That includes those who worked behind the scenes preparing snacks, following up on calls from business sponsors, handling the calls from supporters and wellwishers and writing down the information from callers. I also thank everyone for their challenges. Those challenges don't only encourage others to call, but they make the fundraiser more interesting to listen to. The facts and figures are important, and I will share them; however they are not as much fun as all the bantering you hear during a challenge and giveaways. Speaking of giveaways, let's remember the $100.00 off Flooring, Christmas Trees, Picnic Table, Dog Grooming, Christmas Star showing, Apothecary Spa, Bed & Breakfast, Wreath, and Concerts.

Over a 12 day period listeners pledged $5,448.00 in monthly gifts ($7,645.00 short of need). They also met the needs for a new LNB, for the satellite dish, re-licensing fees, 2006 Property tax fees, and we raised the $700.00 needed to send out the Switchmod and RF Driver cards for repair. Please keep Praying for Christian Radio WFST.

Thanks for the Fence !

For about a month Gary Kelley and some helpers had been assembling 10 foot fence section in his garage for the new fence. Well, a couple of weeks ago early on a cold Saturday morning a crew of saints from the area came out to the station and installed the new fence around the base of the tower. The crew did a great job and it took them just a bit more than an hour. The fenceposts went down into wet, rainsoaked ground on three sides and on the fourth side they had to build a fence across a 14 foot span of water. I thank you for your efforts. This project had to be done so that we could file our license renewal paperwork. We have now filed the needed paperwork and we will be waiting for the FCC to send us our new license.
