The WFST theme verse:
Colossians 4:2-4
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.

October Giveaways

WFST is pleased to give away certificates from Baker Book Publishing Group for books that are relevant to your Christian life, whether it's for disciplining children, help in your marriage or your devotional life.

Call in when the announcer announces the giveaway (usually this is in Dick's shift: 9AM - 1PM.) After receiving the certificate, send it into Baker Publishing and they will mail the book to you. (what could be easier?) Or you can take it to a book store and redeem it there.

October's Booklist includes:
Protecting Your Teen from Today's Witchcraft and What's the Deal with Wicca? One is for parents with facts, tips on recognizing influence in teens and practical advice for guiding kids in the right direction. The other book is written for teens and exposes the deception of Wicca. It goes on to explain that Christianity is the only way.

Avoiding Jesus by Michael Green. The author examines some of the most common excuses for avoiding Jesus and Christianity.

Five-Star Families Author Carol Kuykendal inspires moms to shape their families with the five qualities that will make them shine: love, fun, loyalty, growth and faith.

No More Christian Nice Guy by Paul Coughlin. The author sets the record straight: a complete man who can be both gentle and bold is like Jesus.

Walking the Parenting Tightrope by Russ Robinson who shows you how to balance the tensions every parent faces with a new approach to parenting called polarity management.

Call in on Fridays when prompted by your radio host for a opportunity to win a Bible from WFST and the National Bible Society of Maine
