Easter Special
Be listening Saturday April 15th at 3:00 PM for
"The Story of Love" with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
This seasonal special contains a unique blend of music,
discussion, and a message about the life-changing power
of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from Pastor Jim Cymbala.
This is not the typical Easter program so sit back, relax and enjoy.
You can catch another Easter special on Sunday, April 16th,
at 5:00 PM. WFST will broadcast "Real Answers" with Steve Russo.
Steve along with special guests George Barna of the Barna Group,
Susan Periman of "Juice for Jesus", and Chris Fabry host of "Real Answers",
will look at why we celebrate Easter.
Do your kids think Easter is just for pink bunnies,
Easter eggs, yellow marshmallow chickens, and new clothing for church?
This Easter special will help you teach your family what the true
meaning of the Easter celebration is.
This program is geared for kids, so if you can't make it to church,
gather up the family around the radio to help teach our children
"What makes Easter so Special". I believe you will like it.

National Day of Prayer
"Those Who Honor Me, I Will Honor.
(1Samuel 2:30)
The "National Day of Prayer" is May 4th.
I mention it in this edition of "Family Radio Update",
so that you will have time to make plans, inform others,
and to post yourself some reminders around home, in the car,
and at work.
Here at WFST, we have started playing this year's
theme song, America Honor God, by Rebecca St. James
and we are already airing countdown promotionals.
You can count on reminders and a special program
from "Focus on the Family" as Dr. Dobson's wife,
Shirley is once more highly involved.
Check out the web site
NationalDayOfPrayer.org
for a prayer guide, ideas for planning an event,
a listing of events, and many other resources.
Have fun and please Pray!
Backup Transmitter
The backup transmitter is now fully refitted and retuned, so that
we can use it! This allows us to continue broadcasting when repairs
are needed on the main transmitter.
In the past, we would have had to wait for several days for parts to
arrive from the manufacturer in Texas. Now within the time needed for
someone to get to the station and flip a switch, we can be up and running
again! Praise God for His faithfulness to WFST!
